Sentinel Blue is looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our Operations team. This role is for an experienced problem-solver, with deep expertise in the Microsoft 365 stack. We're a small team doing many things, fully remote; candidates need to be able to manage their workloads independently. Our ideal person for this role is enthusiastic about the Microsoft 365 stack and naturally explores new features. We want you to focus on improving our implementation, automating solutions, and serving as an escalation point for our support team. This role is primarily technical, with a client-facing element. Candidates must be able to produce quality code to support automation.

This is a full-time remote position. Due to the nature of our work, you must be a U.S. citizen with eligibility for a clearance. No exceptions.

A day in the Microsoft 365 Engineer role:

The Microsoft 365 Engineer starts the day with a standup call/check-in with the Operations team. Then they will continue any open support tickets and address any escalated tickets. From there, they will work on tasks such as configuring Conditional Access rules, assisting in M365 user investigations, assisting in a Microsoft 365 migration, and writing documentation. This role requires the ability to develop and contribute code to projects driving automation of Microsoft 365 infrastructure. The Microsoft 365 Engineer will be tasked with resolving partner M365 and Azure issues, investigating service outages/degradations, and tasks in support of technical projects. The Microsoft 365 Engineer will also be asked to contribute to overall company efforts to improve our processes and technical tools, and will develop subject matter expertise in our support and management tools.
